We attract experienced former planning officers who enjoy appraising planning applications, but who are no longer directly employed by a local authority.

 

You will have had a substantial career in local government. You may also have spent some time in the private sector.

 

Our other requirements are that you must have at least 10 years’ experience in planning and are a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.

 

We admire and believe in what local authorities are doing to create sustainable, vital communities, and we want planning officers who share this vision.

 

We deliver value to the local authority, but at the same time reward senior planning officers for their experience.
