Local Planners is not for or against development. That is not our role. Our sole function is to reflect the will of the planning department, which in turn is influenced by the local authority’s members.

Local authorities are custodians of that balance in their communities.

Planning departments want to create vibrant, sustainable communities which benefit the neighbourhood and local people.

Our team at Local Planners understand this desire and we carefully consider the planning balance that's needed to ensure that communities are not negatively impacted by the development being proposed.

The work we do is always in accordance with the will of the head of development control and elected members.
